BUILDING CHARACTER IN A MENTORING RELATIONSHIP
PROVERB 27:17

Dear Brother and Sisters,
Many people have been searching for their purpose of life for years. That’s because we get started wrong by focusing on ourselves. We sometimes ask ourselves the questions like “What do I want to be? What should I do with my life? What are my goals, my skills, my dreams for my future?” But focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose. The Bible says -
Ephesians.1:11-12.
“In whom also we have obtained (find) an inheritance, being predestinated (appoint beforehand) according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.”
These verses explain that before you were born, God planned this special moment in your life and you are not an accident. Even before the universe was created, God had you in mind, and he planned you for his purposes. These purposes will help you understand God’s purposes in your life. Also, the Bible says -
Colossians 1:16
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”
We need to understand this verse first because it is about everything above, below, visible and invisible and that everything got started in Him (God) and find its purpose in Him (God). The purpose of your life all begins with God. If you want to know why you were placed on this earth, you must begin with God. You were born by His (God’s) purpose for His (God’s) purpose.
We need to get ourselves together by attending God’s building to worship, fellowship, ministry, evangelism, and discipleship for the great purpose of bringing our lives into a stronger relationship with others,. Then you will understand clearly about the purpose of your marriage, your friends, your family, and even your neighbors.
Isaiah 26:3
“Thou (you) wilt keep him (Lord) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:(keep their purpose firm and trust) because he trusteth in thee.”
Hebrews 10:25
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
God is good all the time!
